Transtilismo

Whatever the formal characteristics of my projects (from the most conventional to abstract), the territory on which they move does not follow the manifestations of the sensible world.
In this context, the term Music, in its common sense, loses meaning as the concepts of "Sound" (1) and "Timbre" (2) have been rethought to represent a different artistic plane.
Experiencing the ritual of Sound becomes a means of reaching a place... not necessarily physical. Moving somewhere… not necessarily dimensional.
Following this way of experiencing Sound, I no longer find a correspondence between music and language. Instead, there is a profound connection between the production of Sound, the consequent manifestation of the "Medium" that contains it, and the "Journey".
It is the Timbre that traces the paths during the sound gesture.
These paths manifest themselves sound after sound, without any predetermination, whether it is an improvisation or a compositional process. Both in free forms and in conventional structures. The latter will be convenient containers ("Transtilismo" (3)) which in any case keep the path map intact.

(1) Sound
Based on direct experience, this approach assumes Sound as the element or one of the tangible elements of a "Medium" whose components permeate extensive areas beyond the sensible. During a sound gesture, the manifestation of this "Medium" takes place through an altered, or rather extended, perception of reality. A sort of frequency modulation in the plasma shared by artists and guests. The perception of this different nature of sound inevitably rewrites my possible mission in the Art of "Music".
(2) Timbre
The Timbre can be likened to the teeth of a key: and each timbre, like a key, opens a different door. The extended display of one or more Timbres opens the doors to one or more paths...

(3) Transtilismo
In my personal sense, it is a system of writing and improvisation where the stylistic elements act as a container foreign to the content and therefore to the path traced by the timbre.
